Rachel Kinnard is an educator, cultural producer, and clothing designer living in Los Angeles. She is dedicated to expanding the narrative of fashion and inviting everyone to think critically about the clothing we wear. Through transdisciplinary collaboration and public engagement, her projects use clothing as a medium to explore ways of being in the world.
Rachel has worked in program administration and project manager roles at Pratt Institute, Hubert Burda Media and The Fashion and Race Database. She teaches fashion, sustainability and critical design at ArtCenter College of Design and Cal State LA.
Rachel holds a BFA in Fashion Design and MA in Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design.
